Provided senior management, in a 500 million dollar, privately held manufacturing plant, with a 3-5 year IS&T/E-Commerce Plan.

Conducted a thorough internal technology assessment and process flow analysis to fully understand current technology capabilities in all functional areas of the company, identifying gaps, and making recommendations needed to forge ahead in the marketplace.


Determined the information systems and technology business needs of current and prospective customers and suppliers, both today and 3-5 years out. Ensured that the IS&T/E-Commerce plan provided Organization with a competitive advantage, allowing for a seamless integration of future acquisitions as well as contributing towards increased efficiency and cost reductions.


Prepared recommendations within the plan that led to increased profitability at a minimal cost. Provided flowcharts identifying each step in the internal process flow. The flowcharts detailed:

  material flows
  supporting paper documents
  external requirements
  electronic software systems
  supporting technology infrastructure
  secondary warehousing

Final deliverables included: options for improvement to all aspects of the internal process flow, technology recommendations, and short-term and long-term options and recommendations for improvements.
